Pam was nearing her 70th birthday and thinking about retirement. She mentioned to her dear friend Jeremy, that after retiring she would like to take a drawing class. What he responded changed her life. He said, "why wait?" Luckily, she found a drawing class at the Ridgewood Art Institute (NJ), at the only time she had available, and has been involved with art classes and drawing ever since. While her main medium is charcoal pencil, she has also used pastels and oils. Her passion is portraiture.

The hand drawing on the easel was done by Pam using only charcoal pencils. It
is her rendition of
:

Le Génie du Mal
The orignal sculpture of
Le Génie du Mal (pictured on the bottom shelf of the easel) was done by

Guillaume Geefs

and is on display in
St. Paul's Cathedral in
Léige, Belgium.
